QLIK SENSE DEVELOPERS / DATA ARCHITECTS: BARDESS GROUP LTD

As a Senior Consultant you will work closely with your Bardess colleagues and client project team members to develop cutting edge Qlik applications with interfaces to Oracle, Teradata or SAP databases, Business Objects universes and the like. Additionally, you will work with other subject matter experts in assessing/analyzing data quality and developing remediation plans for data improvement. You will design and implement network and system architectures. You will analyze network communication and diagnose system behavior. You will develop and maintain administration best practices. You will develop scripts for administration and solving client problems.

Data Architect Role:

A Data Architect, or an Enterprise Data Architect, designs and manages centralised, end-to-end data architecture solutions. Duties include determining strategic data requirements, creating high-level designs according to these requirements and ensuring that the companys data architecture aligns with its business needs.

Other Duties:

  • Designing architecture solutions that are in line with long-term business objectives
  • Developing data management projects that move a company closer to its future goals
  • Designing a data infrastructure that supports complex data analytics services
  • Providing technical leadership and direction for a companys engineering teams
  • Building effective relationships with senior technical staff so that there is a common understanding of goals and challenges
  • Meeting with clients or executive team members to engage in architectural and requirement analysis discussions
  • Creating diagrams that show key data entities and creating an inventory of the data needed to implement solutions
  • Helping to maintain the integrity and security of the companys database
